Sediment Mapping

ReMetrix creates maps to illustrate the type and depth of sediment covering the bottom of a waterbody. Sediment data is gathered by linking ReMetrix acoustical and physical measurements to Differential GPS.

Calculations of sediment volume or changes in total water volume over time assist in the planning of dredging activities and sediment/nutrient management plans.
